RANSOM Foundation was established in loving memory of Antony Soniya, a young woman whose vibrant spirit and boundless compassion continue to inspire us. Though her physical absence is deeply felt, her impact on those she met remains as strong as ever.

  • Soniya dedicated her life to spreading joy to others, seeking little in return. Her empathy and generosity knew no bounds.

  • Even during her early days, long before significant financial means, Soniya demonstrated her commitment to charity.

  • She faithfully allocated half of her salary to support those in need, visiting orphanages and old age homes, offering solace and a warm smile.

S. Joyson
Founder & Trustee

Carrying the aspiration to provide education to the unprivileged by following Soniya’s Vision, he decided to continue and fulfill her intent through establishing the foundation on her memory. He holds Research degree in Management and having an experience in Operation Management more than a decade. He wants to chronicle the benevolence of his wife by this foundation.

G.Deenadhayalan
Treasurer

With Mechanical Engineering Background, He is a Successful Entrepreneur & CEO of a private firm. A very good friend of Soniya. As a father of two he own’s the responsibility of Treasurer of this foundation to make things possible. He is a cool and able person to handle the challenging mission efficiently.

S.Praisey Angelica
Secretary

Having the involvement in academics, heart to nurture education and to be a support for the team with good deeds, she renders her services as the Secretary of this foundation. She holds a post graduate research degree in English Literature. She has worked as an Assistant Professor of English for 5 years in private institutions.

Fr.Bharath Jeyaraj
Advisory Board

He is a Catholic priest belonging to the Salesian Congregation. A visionary, passionate to achieve the Child related Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. A Professional Social worker specialized in Community Development and Children’s Parliament. Having 20 years of experience in Working with Children and Young.

N.Raja
Advisory Board

Master & Research Scholar in Social studies. Teaching as a Profession from 2005. He was a guest lecture in Tamilnadu Government Arts College, Coimbatore. Co-lead National Social Service Program around 10 years. Produced numerous Centum scholars in Social studies on Tamilnadu 10 grade Public Examination. Received Meritorious Award from Tamilnadu Government.

M.Prabhu
Director – Engineering Projects

Managing Director of Mercy Electricals, highly experienced in driving the Interior Projects in states of Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh. He is serving a community along with other CSR activist by supporting the Engineering projects to the needy. Providing the different cost-effective ideas is his strength. He lives in Coimbatore city along with his wife & two daughters.

N.Ramya
Advisory Board

A professional social worker specialized in child protection. Having more than ten years of work experience in handling non-government and government supported projects related to child protection. Her core areas of interest are project management and counselling psychology. As a well wisher of RANSOM foundation, she will be providing her expertise for various initiatives. She holds Masters in Social Work.

K. Gopi Krishnan
Advisory Board

He has been a very good friend of Soniya since her college days. He has worked with various multinational IT companies and currently lives in Germany with his family. Gopi is Known for his helpful nature; he is actively involved in social contributions. He mentors students to achieve their career goals and transforms students to the next level in their lives. He delivers both technical and non-technical speeches at various forums.

To create access to quality education for less privileged children. To show the right path for the success of the sprouting children. To transform less privileged children to strong and empowering personalities. To support the needy children in leading a dignified life. To empower children of marginalized communities with education. To encourage the children with self- improvement to achieve a steady future.

Vision:

To build a strong and empowered student community among less privileged children and young people, towards becoming productive and socially responsible citizens, by provision of assistance for quality and value based education in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) of the 2030 agenda which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all by 2030.
